Triumph factoring review (2026)

By the Owner Op Stack editorial teamPrices checked How we rank

Quick answer

Triumph (formerly Triumph Business Capital, Dallas) is a fit if you want factoring that pays nights, weekends and holidays: eligible invoices fund in minutes, 24/7, when you take payment into its LoadPay bank account. It states no minimums and no reserves, and offers recourse or non-recourse. The catch: Triumph doesn’t publish its factoring rate, so you have to get a quote.

Key takeaways

  • Factoring: eligible invoices paid in minutes, 24/7/365, into a LoadPay bank account. Triumph says the average invoice decision takes 90 seconds (median 23 seconds).
  • No minimums and no reserves. Recourse and non-recourse contracts are both offered. The factoring rate is not published.
  • Funding to LoadPay skips the ACH and wire fee. Triumph doesn’t list what those fees are if you fund to another bank.
  • QuickPay (not factoring) costs 2–3% per invoice with no contract. Select Carriers get 2.5% or less on QuickPay from 160+ participating brokers.
  • Active factoring clients can get up to a $2,500 fuel credit line per truck. The fuel card runs on the TCS network.

What stands out

  • Funding 24/7, including weekends and holidays, is rarer than same-day and matters when a Friday-night delivery would otherwise wait until Monday.
  • No minimums and no reserves, and you choose which brokers’ loads to factor.
  • Non-recourse is available, and Triumph says there are no chargebacks on approved brokers.
  • The fuel card lists no setup, membership, annual renewal or transaction fees.

What to watch

  • The factoring rate isn’t published, so you can’t compare it on paper with Outgo or Bobtail.
  • The fastest funding and the fee-free transfers depend on opening a LoadPay bank account.
  • Contract length isn’t on the current factoring page. The month-to-month statement comes from an older Triumph guide, so get the term in writing.
  • The 2.5%-or-less rate is for QuickPay, not factoring. Don’t compare it with a factoring quote one-for-one.

Triumph’s three ways to get paid early

Triumph sells three different products, and their prices aren’t interchangeable. Many reviews mix them up, so here they are side by side.

If most of your freight comes from brokers in Triumph’s network, QuickPay may be enough, with no contract. If you haul for many brokers, or need weekend money, factoring is the product to quote. You generally can’t mix them on the same broker: a Notice of Assignment sends that broker’s payments to your factor. See quick pay vs factoring for how other brokers price it.

What the published numbers mean in dollars

Example: $20,000 a month in invoices (our assumption). QuickPay at Triumph’s stated 2–3% costs $400–$600 a month. Select Carrier at 2.5% or less costs $500 or less. For factoring, plug your quoted rate into the factoring fee calculator, and add any ACH or wire fees if you won’t fund to LoadPay.

Triumph pitches its fuel card as a way to offset that cost. Its fuel page states an average of 49¢/gal off at in-network TCS locations (Q3 2026) source, while its LoadPay page cites 59¢ (Q2 2026) source. At 1,500 gallons a month, 49¢ works out to about $735, if you fuel in-network. Treat both as Triumph’s own averages, not a promise.

Who Triumph fits, and who should look elsewhere

  • Good fit: owner-operators who deliver late or on weekends and want cash before Monday; carriers who want non-recourse without a monthly minimum; anyone already hauling for brokers in Triumph’s QuickPay network.
  • Look elsewhere if you want a published rate before you talk to anyone (try DAT Outgo or Bobtail), you don’t want to open a new bank account (OTR Solutions pays 24/7 to any bank; see the OTR review), or you need a per-load fuel advance with a published fee (see factoring with fuel advances).

Questions to ask before you sign

  1. What is my rate, recourse versus non-recourse, and does it change with volume or contract length?
  2. What is the contract term and the cancellation notice? Is there an early-termination fee?
  3. What are the ACH and wire fees if I fund to my own bank instead of LoadPay?
  4. What percent of the load can I take as a fuel advance, and what does it cost?
  5. Which of my current brokers are approved for factoring?

Frequently asked questions

How much does Triumph factoring cost?

Triumph doesn’t publish its factoring rate; you get a quote. It does publish QuickPay pricing: 2–3% per invoice with no contract, or 2.5% or less if you join the Select Carrier Program. QuickPay is a broker payment option, not factoring.

Is Triumph the same as Triumph Business Capital?

Yes. Triumph’s own pages describe it as “formerly known as Triumph Business Capital.”

Does Triumph have a contract?

Triumph’s factoring guide says it doesn’t require long-term contracts and you can factor month to month. Its current factoring page doesn’t state a term, so ask for the length and cancellation terms in writing before you sign.

How fast does Triumph pay?

Eligible factored invoices are paid in minutes, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, when you fund to a LoadPay bank account. Triumph says the average invoice decision takes 90 seconds.

Is Triumph recourse or non-recourse?

Both. Triumph says its non-recourse contracts protect you if a customer can’t pay because of insolvency, and that it takes the risk on approved brokers.

Can I use Triumph QuickPay if I already factor with someone else?

Triumph’s help center says that if you work with a factor, your payments go to the factor on standard 30-day terms.
